Refund Policy

ShortStoryEngine is sold through Warrior Plus, and they process refunds. You can request a refund within 30 days of your purchase.

Both products are one-time purchases, so there is no subscription to cancel and nothing will ever be charged again.

How to request one

Contact us through the GazMat Support Center with the email address you bought with and your sale ID, and we will start the refund for you. You can also request it directly through the payment platform using the receipt they sent you.

What happens to your work

A refund removes paid access — it does not remove your work.

Your stories, submission records and generated files stay exactly where they are, readable and exportable. Your account returns to the free plan, so paid features lock and stories beyond the free limit become read-only. Nothing is deleted, and buying access again restores everything.

The account, transaction, and audit records needed to evidence the purchase and the refund are retained. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep things and why.

What we do not promise

ShortStoryEngine does not guarantee story sales, royalties, rankings, reviews, readers, acceptance by any publication or platform, or business income. Results depend on the writing, the market, your execution, and other factors outside the software's control.

What the Service does guarantee is the work it actually performs: preparing your story in the formats each market expects, recording what each market's rules and AI policy say, and keeping your submissions tracked in one place.
